Wreck Creation - Steal This Tape! [demo 1991]

Wreck Creation existed from 1990 - 1996, and played what most would describe as thrash/crossover. The band carried members of Wehrmacht, Speed Weenie and Bodybag throughout their time together. 

Steal This Tape! is their first demo from 1991 and contains four tracks clocking in at just over 15 minutes. They went on to release another cassette, a split 7" with 90 proof and finished with a self titled cd in 1995.

Bile & Demise - Vancouver, WA 1991

A friend gave me a VHS that contained sets from Bile and Demise at a show in Vancouver, WA in early 1991.  The show took place at Vagabonds, which was a record store on 13th St in downtown Vancouver.  There was no date listed on the video, but it's definitely from early 1991.

Savior / Dickfinger - The Face Of Adversity [1990 demo]

This demo is a nice two-for-one deal.  Side A has three tracks of great thrash metal from Savior, and side B has six tracks of crossover from a Savior side project called Dickfinger, including a GG Allin cover.  I hit up Jeff Walter, who played guitar for Savior, and he said that Dickfinger was made up of the same members as Savior, and was something they had been messing around with since '86 or '87, which includes an unreleased demo called "When We're Drunk, We're Punk".  Jeff also currently plays in Poison Idea and Shock Troops.

Speed Weenie - Demo 1987

I always heard the name, Speed Weenie, tossed around when I was younger.  In school, I knew a kid who always claimed that his older brother used to hang out at the Death House, and we would talk about how cool that place must have been and how we wished it was still around for us to thrash around at.  Over the years, it seems as if Speed Weenie is one of the band names that became synonymous with the Death House, but aside from the folklore I picked up from other people my age that missed the boat on Speed Weenie by a couple of years, information seems to be scarce.  Try to do a google search for Speed Weenie, and you'll be met with pretty much nothing but Urban Dictionary entries.

For those unaware, Speed Weenie played some blazing speed metal with a bit of a crossover vibe.

Here is their studio demo from 1987.  I'm not sure if there was ever a cover, but my tape doesn't have one, so you get a scan of the actual tape instead.

I also have a 1989 demo tape that will eventually make its way up here, but I have no clue if they released anything else.  However, I do know that Speed Weenie's singer, Aaron Rider, also sang for Shitfinger, and their drummer, Jeff Roper-Witt, later played drums in Wreck Creation.
