Oily Bloodmen - Telephone Wire [Demo 1988]

Oily Bloodmen spent a decent chunk of years (1984 - 1992) in various Portland nightclubs, honing a hardcore punk sound that had unique tinges of funk and country buried just below the surface.

This is there Telephone Wire demo from 1988.  At this point in time, Dean Johnson of Poison Idea fame had joined them on drums.

Also, here's a site that has some mp3 rips of Oily Bloodmen's 1987 demo - Old Men Have To Talk Tough along with a few photos.
Unfortunately, in 1998 and 2001, two co-founding members of Oily Bloodmen in Dale Moerer and Rich Rosemus died of drug overdoses.
